Therapy for Moms & Couples
If you’re feeling anxious about doing it “right” as a mom or are caught in comparisons and perfectionism, I can help you break free. If your relationship is suffering from trying to balance being a parent while still being a partner, then I can help you re-connect to one another in realistic ways. If you want to get off the hamster wheel and find space to breath I can show you how. I provide therapy to moms, working moms, and couples to help bring calm to the chaos and peace in partnering as you strive to raise healthy, happy children. In therapy we will work together to help you remember who you were before you were a parent, and develop who you want to be now that you’re responsible for raising another human being. It’s not about being someone or something you’re not, but it is about re-connecting to the potential you have in yourself and within your relationship.
How I Help
Helping moms, working moms, and couples using proven tools and strategies, I assist you to remain present and focus on the vision you have for your family and your relationship. Tools such as mindfulness and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) can be adapted to your specific needs. As you apply these tools, you will become more mindful of the blocks that keep you from embracing your role as a mom and interfere with your relationships. You will no longer feel like you’re teetering on the edge of a meltdown. You can gain greater confidence that you can adapt with each new stage in your family. You will feel re-inspired mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. As a couple, through Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) strategies and Gottman Method Couples Therapy principles, you can re-gain the connection you once had and learn tools to maintain that connection through the many stages of your family.
I offer online therapy and in person therapy in the Carmel Valley area of San Diego, CA. If you want to move from merely surviving to thriving, click here to schedule your free 15-minute phone consultation today.
